Imagine that, an Italian Restaurant in Germany actually run by Italians. I was surprised, not only that but the food was truly homemade, it was obviously made with a passion for food and this is a soon to be lost Art. The downstairs is quaint and for the quick coffee or pastry but up the stairs is the longer term Dinner seating, a bit sparse in the decoration but beautifully set next to very large windows. read more.

The Poccino is a nice Italian place that is very nicely decorated. I had the lasagna which was good, although I had the feeling it was the German-Italian version (very liquid so to say). Not bad at all but I am not sure it 's comparable to what you 'd get in Italy. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow. An extra waiter would definitely help during the busy hours.
