"Distinct and transitional interior, laying in wonderful surroundings and very close to the Sherpa stairs that lifts you to the Røydøyløva. Rooms were very charming, clean and comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were also appropriately clean and provided everything you need (some rooms had their own bathrooms as well). The hosts met you at the dock, some 2 km from the hotel, to drive you to Klokkergården, and could also drove you back after your stay if needed. Food was good, but nothing special."

"Just off the ferry and hungry what a joy to stumble across the Råkk 'n Råll) Kafé. Good American diner food. Hamburger fries for me. And a chocolate milkshake. And for dessert a fat American pancake with syrup. Lots of American '50s memorabilia, pop stars and music stretching from Elvis to the Beatles breakthrough. For an old hungry ex American this place is a delight. Probably for everybody else too!"
