"Volcano’s Mexican and it's friendly staff consistently serve fantastic authentic-style Mexican food that cannot be beaten. Over the past few years, I have always struggled to find an authentic Mexican restaurant that offers excellent food in the Norman/OKC area. After receiving a recommendation from a friend, I hesitantly visited Volcano’s due to some skepticism I had from its building’s appearance. Little did I know that this outing would lead to countless future visits leaving me with the utmost satisfaction. If you have not tried this restaurant and enjoy authentic Mexican, please give it a shot! I imagine you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavors of their food! Food Recommendations 1. Enchiladas (Shredded Chicken) (definitely try combination plate #2) 2. Chips and queso (or guacamole) 3. Tacos (Shredded beef) 4. Flautas (Shredded Chicken) 5. Tostada (Shredded Chicken) 6. Tamales (Pork) Generally, I am not the biggest fan of the NON-shredded (fajita-style) chicken. Shredded typically is the way to go. Hope this helps, and I genuinely recommend this wonderful place!"

"Fun, fun, fun!! Outdoor seating with live music!! So many people there, the servers had difficulty keeping up!! But, everyone was patient and kind about it. I definitely recommend this for a fun night out with friends and great music!! The history of this place is cool too!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps make this a very accessible location. Worth the time!"

"My experience has only been delivery so far but my goodness the food is delicious! I javent had anything I don't like yet and hope to go in person one day. The mushroom soup with some of the salty bread is comforting on a cold day or if feeling down! The pastries are so perfect with that slight sweetness and presentation that just makes you smile! I love pairing any of the sweets with my coffee or tea! The pesto pasta was delightfully creamy and not overpowering! Must tries!"

"We stopped in after a 12 hour shift. I was hunger and exhausted they were super busy, and wait time was about 20 min. They offered us a table at the bar for zero wait. We had fish and chips, pizza, and some spicy boneless.chicken wings. Then monkey bread with ice cream. The service was amazing. Food was delicious And we were in and out quickly!"

"Great atmosphere! great smells and an authentic environment. service was good, eating came quickly out! parking is tricky as it is on main street, they come with extra time to foot if necessary. not my favorite Thai spot, but it is good and a cool place when they are in the opposite. baked chicken rolls were good, the tempura was a little strange. the plates were beautifully presented. could use a larger part for the price. the staff was very friendly, we got caught and stayed a little after closing. they were very polite and worked with us"

"The taco salad is amazing! My new favorite here is Diego’s Enchiladas! You can’t go wrong with the combination fajitas, and the guacamole salad with fajita chicken is delicious! The food tastes authentic and you can tell everything is made fresh. The people who work here are so kind, quick, and attentive. I’ve never had a bad server here. The margarita on the rocks is strong and a tasty beverage. The queso and salsa set up is so good… hands down best salsa in town!"
