my wife and I came here. we know our Indian food and that was great here. there was a west bengal / pakastani touch, so that eating was subtle different. beautifully seasoned overtones with a hauch of hotness. had two three main and desserts with garlic-nan. we had no problem with the service. the waitress was absolutely delightful and a sharp cook herself so she could answer questions about eating. What Braulio Krajcik doesn't like about Cafe Punjabi:
there are no small dishes, 1 entree 1 pornstar, 1 desert naan and rice and it worked well, delicious starter sheema kebab , a fish dish, butter huh, saag spirit, followed by a very average kuphi eating was tasty., service was pleasant, it is byo but , court was almost empty served couples, the 11iti come without pickles This will undoubtedly be much longer here. but delicious eating 16-17 a main View all feedback.
Nice little Indian restaurant Lamb Saag is amazing. Very fast and friendly service. Parking is a pain in Northbridge though.
Fancy a hot curry to warm you up on a cold night? This great little Indian restaurant looks unassuming but the food is genuinely lovely.
Went there on a coupon , 1 entree 1 main , 1 desert naan and rice and it worked well , tasty starter sheema kebab , a fish dish , butter chicken , saag ghost , followed by a very average kulphi Food was tasty , service was pleasant , it is BYO BUT , place was nearly empty , starters that cost $11 come with no pickles , raiti etc , meals served in breakfast bowls rather than copper bowlsVery vocal ( and disappointed couple ) couple behind me , no samosas , no goat no lamb dishes ( and no real apologies ) A lesson in its the small things that count ... Doubt this will be here much longer ... But tasty food $ 16-17 a main

Our waitress didn't speak English. Asked for a vanilla milkshake four times from two people before it arrived halfway through my second course after everyone else had drunk theirs. Was served drinks in cans with no glasses. Dinner took 2 hours and we were all brought food at different times.Dumplings were very odd tasting. Besides that food was really good, with decent sized portions and really good flavours. Enjoyed Naan and curry and there wasn good selection of veggie options. If never go back for dinner but would definitely go back to takeaway as service was lacking and waitress didn't smile once but actual food quality was really nice. Front of house needs work but something is is going well in the kitchen.
