"Traveling through Port Macquarie in our Motorhome we needed to grocery shop. Shopped at Coles. We had no problem parking our Motorhome in the shopping centre car park. Shopping done now coffee time what better place than Ruins Cafe. Friendly service, great coffee and paleo banana bread was great."

"Just gorgeous. Staff are friendly and polite and go out of there way to make sure we had anything we needed. They let some little kids feed their chickens, and supervised them so their parents could enjoy the coffee. And the food was yummy. Definitely be back. Worthy of a stop. Prices were decent."

"Used to be a regular visitor for coffee during the past years, and the owners have done a remarkable job in refurbishing the premises. I don't know what's going on now as the cafe no longer has any external signs advising it is a cafe, nor its hours of business. The place is up for sale, and I understand Council will not allow them to cook meals there. I drive past almost daily and sometimes i see the doors open and customers in there."

"I just Love Bittersweet, everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The staff know exactly how I like my coffee as I am very fussy. When I pre-order it is always ready for me when I arrive which is what I like. The menu is varied and the food absolutely delicious. We Love to go there for lunch or just drop in at any time for a cuppa. The new Decor is great and there is a lot more room. If you are a local or just visiting Port, it is worth stopping in on Bittersweet, you won't be disappointed! Cheers Sheila Sam Openshaw"
