"I love poke. I am originally from Hawaii and can honestly say that the poke at hello poke is nothing like hawaiian poke. That being said, their take on poke is one that I think hawaii should adopt. The different flavors and combinations are phenomenal. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the people who work there seem like the don't really like their job. No one smiled except the cashier. Everyone just seemed mad. Again, food, delicious; restaurant, nice; cashier, friendly, everyone else, mad and unhappy."

"I had a great experience at this location during my lunch break! I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, regular fries, and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.....all delicious and satisfying! Thank you to staff at Jackie M's and Son Cafe! I'll be back!"

"I think pizzateig should be cooked on the stromboli, but the rest was good. we have a calzone like this one before here and when I called to let them know that the guy told me that it is how it should be cooked. probably it won't risk here, even if it's local."

"Very uncomfortable first time experience. I let the the person preparing the pizza know that I had never been there, and that I wanted the ?make your own option.? He was unresponsive to my questions, so I read from steps 1,2,3 etc but he just staredahead, without offering guidance towards the typical process (such as if only 1 sauce/cheese/vegetable was allowed). I wasunable to understand him when he did eventually respond. The cashier offered answers to my questions which I reallyappreciated, but ultimately I left with a fairly pricy pizza that I was unhappy with because it seemed like I was allowed onlyone of each sauce/topping/etc."

"Underwhelmed. Service was good, but food and presentation was adequate. Chef Special App was grilled pork belly which was very good. We both ordered the lamb to pair with a 2017 Mount Brave Cab Franc . I try to never add salt or pepper to a meal because as a former restaurant owner I find it disrespectful. I added salt and pepper to the lamb because frankly it was bland. The wine opened up and we enjoyed. And in the end we loved the Pecan Caramel Swirl cake. Wine list was a surprise. I will note we visited on a Monday."
