We booked a table in advance due to the September holiday weekend, which was worth it as there was a 'fully booked ' sign when we arrived. Clearly a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. First of all. I cant believe we got a table! Every review I read for this magnificent restaurant does not do it justice. The food. The service, and the ambient atmosphere of this restaurant are second to none. If you go to Arran, I would... View all feedback.
Dining at the Stags Inn is one of the regular highlights of our annual Arran golfing holiday with a group of friends. The gorgeous freshly cooked food, the atmosphere, the exemplary service and attention to detail served up by Rino and Valerie and staff is five star. It's the best dining experience on the Island by far. Long may they continue.
Title says it all. Really high quality cooking! Our 4th visit and definitely the best. Faultless throughout with great service, lovely owners and smashing value. I could have eaten anything on the menu; highlight of which was the Italian bread butter pudding. If you skip this as an option you're mad.
We visited on a Saturday evening to celebrate a family birthday. The food selection was excellent from the starters, through the mains and the desserts.
A remote family restaurant with no licence (BYOB) that is well worth seeking out. Only a few tables and a small menu but everything is freshly cooked and really delicious. We enjoyed seafood, venison and lamb with lovely desserts and had a throughly good time. Service is friendly and efficient and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

(Remember to BYOB, we forgot but were more than happy with the large soft drink menu!
