"Seriously awesome BBQ! The pulled pork sandwich was stellar! Love the outdoor dining option, there's hummingbirds! Dog friendly and a super friendly bartender! 5/5. Go here, but don't be a douche and wreck it for the locals."

"Delicious food, waitstaff was very attentive. Highly recommend. I ordered the 1/2 order breakfast and still had over half my order left. And I was stuffed."

"Got croissants and the ham and cheese croissants today, and suspect 99% that both of them were Costco items, not made by them. Croissants were definitely not fresh or hand made, ham and cheese croissant defrosted in a micro wave. This is not a bakery that sells home made goods."

"I am so grateful for the whole team, especially the very friendly and haunting owners of Il Paesano. I will tell you the story: We came to my best friend rehearsal dinner and found that the cat had mixed the data and did not show up. My husband and I immediately started looking at restaurants in the area and came across these, right on the street. I cried and explained the situation, and Giordana was so sweet and helpful, turns out that she was eating us for 60 people in less than an hour!! And the food was so delicious. Amazing presentation and packaging of the items, you could say that it puts love in it. So to sum it up: If you go to Il Paesano you won?t just get good food, you?ll get amazing and human customer service. Thank you for saving our lives from a week. You're amazing!"

"So sweet Isequah! Was the next restaurant of our car, but what a pleasant surprise. Super welcoming and good service and delicious food splurge for the Prime Rib Special but it is $70 FYI"

"We like to stop here because it's a more secure place to park our ride when traveling from Snoqualmie Pass into the city. Although not easily read through the website, the vegetable dumplings and salads are vegan friendly. The kale sald, though not organic, is huge and filling, a bargain at just $7 the way things are these days. The dumplings are pretty good. If you dine in, the staff can let you know what items are vegan. We did that just once, now we order online and the food is efficiently prepared and ready for pickup in 20 minutes, even when they're busy. You can grab it off the rack inside, it will probably be ready before you get your notification. The only other spot in Issaquah we've tried is the PCC deli which is pricey and last time I went there the deli guy made fun of me for asking which items were vegan which I found unhelpful. The dough zone has been consistent, tasty, fast and affordable if you know how to work it. I'll be back for sure."

"I rated it low due to a customer service issue I mention below. I came in for a late lunch/early dinner and was quickly seated in the bar area. I was excited for some mexican food as I have had a good experience there before. I asked what all was in the dish I was interested in and got it without guac. When it was brought out, there was still sauce on it that I hadn't been told about. Not liking such things, I tried it anyways and decided it would not sit well with me. I told the waiter and he rather insisted that it should be good that way and couldn't understand why I would want to return it. He kept saying it should be good and also that I would have to pay for it anyways. When I tried to ask about ordering something else, he was still insistent that my current dish was fine just like it was and everyone likes it with sauce. That the restaurant would be losing out and I would or at least should still have to pay. He even suggested I just eat it anyways. At this point it seemed like he was insinuating I was trying to take advantage of them in some way. Feeling upset and frustrated (and hungry), I decided to leave and asked for the bill. I tried to explain that this is not how you should respond to a customer and it seemed to make him change as I was then told I don't have to pay. I asked again for the bill and when he was not willing to oblige, so I paid what cash I had on hand and left (still hungry). This is a missed opportunity in how you can better treat customers. I hope the takeaway here is that if a customer asks what's on (or in) something that this includes all the items. And if a different item is asked for, that they aren't made to feel awful for even making such a request. You should never tell a customer how they should feel, like, or not like something or feel awful for having such an opinion."
