"First time there. Food was good, not great. Three of us had three different entrees' as well as appetizers. We all liked what we had, and that is a very good sign, it's just that none of our dishes struck us as exceptional. Service was excellent, quick but not rushed, and very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I would go back in the hope of finding an outstanding dish as it felt like they were capable, just that they fell a little short"

"First time ordering. We ordered online for pickup. Food traveled well and tasted delicious. We will be ordering again! My husband had the filet mignon and chicken hibachi. The filet was so good! I had chicken Yaki udon. Also really flavorful. Recommend!"

"Still my favorite after all these years! Since I was a child And 40 years later, two claims and a birch beer still taste the same. Prices are still reasonable to be right on the promenade. It's definitely a more fat pane than most, but so I like it. Woman on the front gives you quick service with a touch of an attitude that someone would love, but there is always a thank you and have a big day at the end!"

"Excellent dinning experience!!! The picturesque location is central to shopping on Washington Street and much more. The owners Carol Steve were super sweet and Cheryl our waitress was very attentive! Every bit from the brie, salad, seafood pasta and apple cake dessert were amazing. The love for good kitchen was clear in every detail."

"We arrived in Cape May late Friday evening (around 8 pm) and Maria at The Queen Victoria B&B called over immediately as soon as she found out that we were starving and knew the kitchen closed at 9 p.m. Dave mentioned that he had not made reservations earlier in the day because we were not sure when we were arriving (it was a long 3 hour drive). The folks at The Merion graciously made us a reservation for 8:30 giving us time to get settled in. This was our second time at The Merion and once again, we were not disappointed. Our steaks were perfect, our drinks were great, and the piano player Dean was phenomenal! I was celebrating my birthday and when our waitress brought over dessert with a candle in it, Happy Birthday began to play! And the last hour of the evening Dean played all Frank Sinatra songs, Dave was in heaven! Lol. Thank you again to The Merion for a wonderful evening."
