"Anson's is a must stop in Charleston, SC. The whole flounder is one of the best entrees I have ever had. I love it and crave it. They had the braised lamb as a special the night I was there, and it was also amazing. My wife and I split it with the flounder. Duck fat apple pie or crumble tops it off. Very nice staff and atmosphere. Love it."

"When we came in it was just one person ahead of us, so when it got to our turn we were asked what we getting and I said a dz. mix, then paid. Nobody ever got our order after paying and we stood there watching a few workers make eye contact with us, even the one that took our order and money and said nothing while continuing to serve and give others their orders. I had assumed they had to get some crabs from outside until I saw the other customers getting their orders who came after me.A guy from the back finally came up and asked if we have been helped and that’s when I told him I’d already paid and was waiting on my order. The others still just stood there like we were invisible while he made our order and apologized. I’ve never received this type of service from here before and was very surprised. Maybe they had an off day or something."

"The food here hits your palette just right. This was our second visit. This time we had an Appetizer to start, Shrimp in a blanket. They were tasty and served with a sweet chili sauce. Our selections were Basil Leaves w/ chicken and Tom Yum Chicken soup. Rice was given on the side to the table. Both entrees were flavorful and delicious. We absolutely love the service as well. They do a good amount of carry out. So go check them out!"
