"Saw at the bar. Great place for tapas, wine and a solid craft beer selection. Potatoes a la Plancha were enormous. Scallops were perfectly cooked and recruited. Service was excellent and helpful, and locals were friendly. The next time we get back in the area."

"Friends Lake Inn is a nature lovers paradise. Such a beautiful location in the Adirondacks. We were looking for country chic and that was our experience. Dining there also was a great experience . The food was fresh and oh so good. Especially liked the strawberry jam that was made by Kim , who works there.That is just an example of how much staff members put into their work.The owner and staff were friendly , pleasant and helpful. They are the best of the best in the hospitality industry without a doubt!"

"Delicious pastries, we tried the cinnamon roll and the coffee cake. I recommend the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, very tasty. Coffee was also great! Very friendly and friendly staff, will definitely return if ever again in the area."

"My wife and I went to the Adirondack General Store Prime Rib Dinner tonight.First off, the waitress Zoe was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings! I had the Prime Rib dinner and it was to die for! The mashed potatoes that accompanied the Prime Rib were delicious! My wife had the Penne Ala Vodka with shrimp and she absolutely loved it! My wife enjoyed her wine and I enjoyed my Paradox Leaf Peepers IPA. To top the dinner off, the dessert menu was great...we thoroughly enjoyed the Carrot Cake. The owner made the dinner extremely personable by greeting us during our dinner! I highly recommend that you go the Adirondack General Stores Prime Rib night!"
