We had Sunday lunch which was very good. Beef was a great cut and served pink with a selection of vegetables , roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. I did feel I would have liked more vegetables- one large slice of carrot, 2 slices of parsnip and 2 small slices of leek. Apple Charlotte dessert was wonderful. Delightful staff. Lovely decor. Lovely evening with friends. ABBA girls very good. Can’t go wrong with cold buffet very nice. Staff worked well to serve 100 people.

"Perhaps it was a bad day but neither of us thought this was very good, certainly not excellent. The service of the waitresses could not be faulted, the drinks and bread and butter arrived very quickly but we seemed to wait a long time for...our haddock and chips, not their fault. The fish was not as good as some we have had recently from other places and the batter was a little thick and not as crispy as we would have liked. It was very hot, which was a plus point."
