I met up with friends I have not seen for some time and they were keen to have a curry. We decided to visit the Dhaka restaurant in Sun Street. We received a friendly greeting from the staff and were immediately seated. The restaurant was not very busy and we did not have long to wait before our order was taken and our food soon arrived. What Wood218 doesn't like about Dhaka:
This is possibly the worst Indian meal I have ever had! My partner and I both ordered different dishes but somehow ended up with identical looking brown sludge with very little flavour and way too much heat. I have read a number of very favourable reviews for this restaurant and I can only wonder what these people are used to eating! If I could give a rating lower than one, I definitely would! We came here for the first time The food was delicious, and staff were lovely will definitely be coming back!
A lovely meal, although felt slightly rushed. Tuesday evening, the restaurant is small, with a number of other tables in use. Tasty food, friendly service.
