As visitors to the area, we always use to pop in for Sunday Lunch before Covid, we raved to family and friends about the restaurant. Visited today first time for a long time, ordered Steak Pie for Sunday Lunch, not only did we have to wait over 30 mins for the order to arrive but the steak pie had changed, flaky crumbly pasty rather than the lovely solid shortcrust pastry of before. "Passing through Coningsby on Saturday, we came across the cob shop on the Main Street . Only small, but very welcoming and provides an excellent cup of tea and bacon sandwich there was plenty of other choice). Lovely bacon! It was the BBMF display day so they were doing a roaring trade, but we did not have to wait long. Shall definitely make a beeline for here on our next trip this way. Opens at 9am which, incredibly, the only other choice in the village does not. Highly recommended."
