Lovely decorated restaurant with friendly staff. 3 course set menu £15.95, good choices and portion sizes. A la Carte reasonably priced. Food of excellent quality and very tasty. Even brought dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend. View all feedback.
What 328mandm doesn't like about Rabellos:
It took 30 minutes to give our order. By the time we received our food 3 tables who came in after us had eaten and were waiting on their mains. We got food an hour after we were seated. Waitress grumpy when we complained. Porcini mushroom sauce overpowering, battered haddock slimy and greasy and bizarre veg combo of cauliflower cheese and ham and peas in the same dish. Unappetising. Family dinner of six adults and two children. Very busy little place food excellent staff friendly. What more can you ask for.
We have visited Benkaz several times with our friends and family for various events, and we have never encountered any issues. It had been a while since our last visit, so we decided to see the new renovations. Unfortunately, if this is what the renovations have brought, they should just start over. The food was still excellent, as always, but the new staff they have hired are incredibly unprofessional. The manager was rude, smelled of smoke, and was dressed inappropriately for a restaurant of this caliber. The other staff members seemed clueless and unhelpful when we asked multiple times for our drinks, which were clearly visible at the bar.
I used to frequent Benkaz at least once a month, but my recent visit with family left me disappointed with both the food and the service.
Meal and staff were lovely as always , but so disappointed with the overall manager ,
Went for a Family meal before My Wife went on a Cruise There was 8 Adults Kids The Staff Were Very Friendly The meals were all Top Class was Great The only Downer was the Drinks were a bit Dear PS They are in the Middle of Redoing it bigger Cant Wait to Try It Once it Reopens
