The best fish shop for a lot in this area, the owners could not make you feel more welcome always chatting and I never felt overwhelmed when we go.
Lovely, nice and chips. Good food, never disappoints. It's always a pleasure to visit Jimmy Jenny to get the fish and chips. weekly I definitely recommend it.
Fresh and well prepared. Fried potatoes (more than you can eat) will never be hungry after eating here.
The smell of the place was horrible. I actually gagged.
Lovely staff always fresh cooked and delicious tasting fish and chips my daughter and I make a special journey as they are so good

"We have just stopped in to Tiggy's as we were in the area. It's a loverly bright little place, not that big but a big friendly welcome from the owner. Had a great big pot of tea for two (loose leaf) and a jacket potato. I must say it was well received, very fresh salad and the potato cooked perfect and very pleased with the price! We will definitely be stopping here again when around the area. Ladies take care and see you again soon."

"Absolutely shocking. We entered the pub after a long journey with full family 3 young children) and our dog. The staff a lady) didn’t look happy we had entered her establishment , but invited us to sit in the dog friendly food area and get settled. When we went to order drinks and ask for a menu, we was then told they could not serve us food due to a large order. I run a large business in the area and I would be not happy turning away people. We then headed to Hope and Anchor who couldn’t have been more welcoming not just with the children but with the dog too, food bowls and water provided on arrival. I won’t be returning to this place and will certainly be letting my circle of friends and family know"

"First visit to this place last night with my brother, its a little gem, tentative staff, freindly and polite but best of all the food was totally delicious, no long wait time for food a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices, also very clean with upstairs kitchen on show, always a good sign."

"So there are, three of us, celebrating my birthday in a group of less than six, because they know that it is the law and all that. we reach the end of our meal and a family of walks. then a family then another family or so and so on. no masks, all hugs and kisses and swallow seats. they must sit in the same area of the restaurant (yes in the tables, but this is not the point when they ask this with the manager is their answer: “They are not together, they are all on separate tables” and if we are with “but they are all embrace and kiss and don’t wear masks” their answer is “good they could be out of the same budget to keep them away so that I can’t take them off.” last weekend I did not travel to see my nan for her birthday when I was able to walk away on this weekend, went to a restaurant with our family friends and had our own little party on the back of the restaurant. Stop being selfish people, you wouldn't believe we're in a pandemic right now."

"I live in Scotland so always when visiting family we arrange to meet and have a meal here. My son, his girlfriend and myself went last week (2/05/23). The staff are always helpful, polite and greet us as long lost friends. The food was amazing, the portions are generous with me always needing to have some boxed up to take away with us (my son has it the next day for work, so no leftovers). I must admit we made a mess of the tablecloth hopefully they were able to get the stains out. I highly recommend The Khyber if you want a good quality meal that’s not overly expensive. Thank you very much guys, we’ll be back soon"

"First visit the curry leaf, what an absolutely fab experience! the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable with a good atmosphere. menu had a lot of choice, with many things to do, the new ones for me are very attentive without being over the top. eating was delicious very tasty, presentation 10 out of 10, portion size was on the larger side. Can not believe that this restaurant is at our doorstep, will definately eat it again, and would highly recommend the curry leaf to want anyone who likes Indian food. we have celebrated my sister's birthday, was a very good choice, many thanks to all the staff, we had a nice evening."
