on a cool coffee. beautiful independent pitstop, quite minimalist in the inner but spacious. many seating opportunities to watch high for people (although not much to see in the fairy) or low cozy chat recreation. no great selection of sweet...treats, unless they are a brownie fan. fab coffee, good quality, good choice. What User doesn't like about Grey Seal Coffee:
No complaints about the coffee and the lemon drizzle cake they get top marks. The young lady needs to improve her arithmetic, we were over charged by one pound and the young man needs to clean his hands more often. A customer paid him...with a lot of small change, which carries germs etc. After putting the money in the till, he promptly served the next customer with coffee and handling their cake. Not good. My dame and I had yesterday coffee and croissants here, delicious coffee, honest really delicious! and the croissant was just as good, the owners were nice to talk to customers, in talks. a good experience, and one we will visit again!
Treasure among the usual sea offers. loved the strong, well made long black and flat white. we'll be back before we get home.
Had a delicious mocha with the missus, the best I had in one. came with young children and while there is plenty of space for double buggy child car there are no hig chairs available. very delicious vegan brownies also
Really nice, a fair size inside, but we sat on the benches outside so they have a paper cup. coffee was good and the snacks. I couldn't understand why it was so calm
We are local but have unfortunately never ventured in since its opening but have always meant to. So on a rare day just us adults we decided to finally see what it's like. I was so surprised and loved the decor and vibe of the place. It's very quiet with only faint background music and the quite talking of other customers. Lots of places to sit including tables and chairs, sofas and a unique raised wooden seating bar. The server was very kind and brought us our hot chocolates (my husband is by a coffee drinker and is already had my caffeine for the day). The Hot chocolate was thick and creamy and not too sweet which made a change. They have a nice range of hot and cold drinks, pastries and cakes and an unlimited toast option with spreads. All were decently priced. It has a very rustic but very clean feel and parts of the masonry are decoratively on show. There are toilet facilities too. Bonus for holiday makers, dogs are welcome. Will definitely be going again!
