"What an excellent and friendly place we arrived in north waltham unplaned, but needed breakfast did not find anywhere that we had the look of and were just giving up to go back to the car, but spied some chairs out so went. so glad that we did to some people, it doesn’t like much from outside, but there is a lot of choice on the menu and all freshly cooked we were thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast that he was cooked to perfection and the young man brought to was super polite and efficient. toilets were clean and well maintained and all the staff were very friendly. please drop them in here and give it a try to cook just well from the look of him and only what we needed could easily miss the path that we might go on a board or two if allowed a good idea. I would also add that it was excellent."

"Great value and perfect for 2 to 9 year olds. Can easily spend all day there. Our 11 and 13 year old liked the mini golf and water fights but not an all day thing for that age. Could have done with a few more Ice cream stalls but you could get some ice creams from the cafe as you come in."

"The Goat was able to accommodate 8 of us at short notice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous the Steak and Kidney Pie was amazing huge! but yes, it all got eaten! Many thanks to Helen for taking care of us."

"Plenty of choices here. Prawn cocktail £10 bit pricey, we felt. It was ok but the prawns sat 2 large lettuce leaves. Whilst making it look different, it was hard to cut the lettuce into bite size pieces, in the round glass bowl it came in. Perhaps be better to shred to lettuce. Mains shepherds pie, plenty of it and very tasty, the top just needed browning off, it your putting cheese on the top, just looked a bit anaemic. Would have looked much more appetising with some colour. Friendly pub with a log fire."
