"Could not fault this establishment one bit, great food, great service and went above and beyond with a comfortable quiet area where my disabled child could eat and felt comfortable. Highly recommended a throughout."

"Although the national staff shortages impacted on the speed of service, we'd a delightful anniversary lunch. The menu was interesting and the four dishes we had were excellent. Nice ambience and a very nice couple of glasses of wine too. Well done"

"We have been to The Owl Tea Rooms in the past for lunch but today we decided on a late breakfast the English breakfast was very, very good good quality ingredients (sausage, eggs, bacon, etc. plus the best black pudding. Breakfast menu is very comprehensive. Service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend you try this place."

"Best fish and chips in town by a country mile. The guys in there are always friendly and welcoming and they always add something a little different to the menu from time to time to keep things fresh. Around Easter they do battered creme eggs, which are absolutely incredible! You have to try them! Wouldn't go anywhere else, if you want great fish and chips...... look.no further!"

"Recommend this pub while staying in the area for the Thursford Spectacular. When we visited the pub was very quiet so we had no problem obtaining a table. It was curry night but the full menu was available and also a specials board. We had basic potato and leek soup followed by scampi which was very adequate and enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and service was good and we would visit again."
