"We have been to The Owl Tea Rooms in the past for lunch but today we decided on a late breakfast the English breakfast was very, very good good quality ingredients (sausage, eggs, bacon, etc. plus the best black pudding. Breakfast menu is very comprehensive. Service was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend you try this place."

"This maybe rated 4.5 on reviews but my experience was less than 1 The website says hours open till 8:00 pm When I arrived at 7:25 pm I was planning to pick up a fish supper. I parked up the road and walked back to the shop, as I walked past the window to the door I could see that all the display cabinets were empty although there were still a couple of guys still in the shop. When I got to the door there was a fish wrapper sign on the door CLOSED 7:30 Fortunately there is a budgens supermarket in Holt that shuts as advertised at 8:00 pm I was able to pick up fresh breaded cod, thai fishcakes and some oven chips. So if you're ever on a few days break near Holt and fancy a fish supper, Budgens is your most reliable and very tasty option."

"Excellent food from a fish focused menu. Not a huge selection but we much prefer a smaller number of dishes done well, which these were, with very well prepared and presented starters, mains and deserts. Friendly and helpful staff who were very accommodating of my wife's food allergy. Desserts are excellent! Loses a star just for the two sittings, which means it feels a bit rushed if you are on the early evening sitting. However, I fully understand the financial need to do this as it is a small restaurant with limited covers."

"She quay, especially it was a nice curse. alexandra sends us all the necessary instructions to get to the building where clear and easy to read. at the arrival was the place immaculate, warm and relaxing. we found our way into our room that was so spacious with beautiful massive windows filled with natural light. the room itself had a nice comfortable king bed. the bathroom was my favorite big shower, clean and tidy and also has a de-misting mirror that was handy. we had a great sleep and then went down to the breakfast. alexandra was down to make sure that all the guests, where happy they made us a coffee and told us to help us get to breakfast. there was a huge series of tasty and various dinge -10 different types of chalk croissants, pancakes, crumbs, bagels, literally so many options -fruits and yogurt -night hafer -hams and bee the breakfast itself was simply great, so many options could not be omitted! alexandra was a great, so friendly and attentive. we will definitely come back in summer"

"What a lovely friendly place to eat and drink. Family friendly and definitely worth a visit. Food drinks: Me and my family ate at Bang in Wells this evening, we had been looking at eating there for a while and we weren’t disappointed. We ordered a variety of different mains and they were really tasty and well presented. My whole family enjoyed the food and drinks and we would definitely recommend this place. "Not been here for many years mainly because not passing by but were in village and food was being served all afternoon. Nice pint of a guest seasonal ale. Friendly service happy to ‘fine tune’ menu swapping things around to suit our taste/s. Food came in reasonable time; was hot and tasty as well as priced reasonably … not sure you can ask for more in one of few pubs in North Norfolk that has not gone all ‘gastro’ and ‘Masterchef’, thus retaining some sanity of having good ‘pub grub’. Be back …"

"What a wonderful pub! the personal was very attentive and could not have done for us anymore. eating was absolutely delicious - recommend a roast dinner! it's a shame that it's 2 hours away from us, if this were more local, we'd be there all the time!"

"Really good food. Had the duck croquette (very big so suggest sharing between two) followed by the pork ribs. Staff were incredibly friendly and polite and had a wonderful atmosphere. Only drawback was that the service was slightly slow (probably because it was so popular)."
