Quite simply I cannot understand these reviews, this pub isn’t worth crossing the road for let alone the journey. It’s not a destination place, the surroundings are shabby beyond belief, the service at best surly, the menu appears to consist of mostly frozen food cooked up, and we waited nearly 45 minutes for fish and chips and a bill for almost £100 for 4, with 6 drinks between the 4 of us.
