El Charro is a real hidden gem of a restaurant, with wonderful, authentic Mexican food, great drinks and the best guacamole (regional) I've ever had. Very reasonable prices. Very recommended! View all feedback.
What Dennise D doesn't like about El Charro:
The decor is cool. The food was just ok. The cabbage was so plain, not pickled. The chips and salsa were too simple, quite plain. The salsa very mild, the chips were old-ish. They do offer a great selection of margaritas. The pico de gallo was fresh, had a zing to it which added flavor to food. The fajitas tostada had bland chicken. The chicken in the corn tacos was flavorful. Not sure why one dish had bland chicken.... View all feedback.

Good food, friendly staff and good prices. Since they opened, there were several times and had no complaints.
I love this restaurant! Authentic Mexican cuisine! The prices are incredible for all the food you get! My husband was NIE a fan of Mexican food, but this has now become our Friday night place. He loves the food. I never feel sick when I go. I tried different dishes every time I'm gone and I'm never disappointed.
I always wait until after my second visit to check a restaurant. A visit doesn't always tell the story. El Charro is a gift for the Nord Providence region (Marieville). The former location of the relocated Mozzarella's Restaurant on Mineral Spring Ave was beautifully converted into a Mexican dining room. The main room feels fun and lift. It offers stands along the circumference and tables with carved Mexican decor chairs that leave a lasting impression. Above all, food will leave an impression even more. Visit one was Chicken Enchilada and visit two was a construction your own Burrito. I chose ground beef, onion and cheese. Both times I made mmmm sounds because the food is so good. The free chips and salsa were excellent. The ingredients taste as if they had just been pulled out of a garden. And both times my gut was perfection. How do you make a Burrito better than another restaurant? I can't tell you, but El Charro does. Put this on your mandatory list and try it out. Prices are so reasonable. Parking is easy. I only live a few miles north in Lincoln. I'm glad El Charro is so close to me.
I love this place i went for mothers day and i love the quesadillas ranchera i had. My fav place to have a sangria
