"Me and my boyfriend popped by this place after reading trip advisor reviews that are mostly really good, we were not disappointed, it was clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only downfall was my first option was not available however what I did receive was very tasty, my partner was very satisfied and always notices good quality food which he did comment on. A lovely start to our day, service with a smile makes a difference, thank you."

"Went back for a quick meal before the match and the standards haven't changed at all. Great portions, great quality of food and the staff cannot be more helpful. The portion size are very generous so don't over do it on the cheese garlic bread for starters as one is more than enough for two persons. Very reasonable on the wallet as well!"

"Beautiful fish chips, with light batter that is gorgeous. You have to wait, everything cooked fresh, but the wait is worth it and the added bonus of a lemon wedge parsley sets this place ahead of the rest."

"Cheesecakes from simply cheesecake are simply divine. You won't get a better slice of cheesecake in the North of England. Not only that but the prices are ludicrously low. An absolute bargain. If you want a quality, handmade cheesecake you need to get yourself to simply cheesecake."

"It's the 2nd time I have been with a family member for afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. It's nice to have a choice of a good selection of sandwiches. Scones were beautiful and a lovely selection of cakes too. We will definitely be back"
