herr beans is a family-run independent coffee shop that is freshly served to order food and large coffee with a friendly and easily accessible atmosphere.

delicious eating staff very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend my favorite coffee shop!

we go here most fridays with our small children after the game group and are always made to feel welcome and have never been made as the children are an unbreed...

"Soooo if you haven’t been here already then you most certainly need to make it a first on your list to do so! We have been here tonight and the service from Dom and the food was out of this world! Doms attention to detail is literally bespoke from the smallest of things as in a hand towel for each individual person that uses the lavatory to the fact that if you so happen to leave your table he is there picking up your napkin and rearranging it back to how it was originally! The food talks for itself you have to try it, cannot recommend this place highly enough and we will most certainly be returning."

"We were trying to get into the cafe opposite as it had tables in the sun, and it wasn’t immediately obvious where the entrance to the Almshouse is (10 yards down street). The outside seating doesn’t look as appealing as it’s neighbor but once inside it’s a different story. A really nice menu with an excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and great coffee, served by friendly staff. The Almshouse itself is really pretty inside, with a bookshop, and spiral staircase taking you to more seating. Next time we’re in Axbridge we’ll be heading straight there!"

"Adored it here. Super cool vibes and friendly, knowledgeable staff. One of the highlights of my hen do! Everything we tried was delicious and imaginative. Love the theme and the tucked away location. They let us have a private area since we were a large booking which made it feel really special. Have been waiting to visit for ages and can't wait to go back. Wish I'd taken more photos of the drinks as they were beautifully presented but alas, I was having too much fun."
