What Paulo Carreira Gomes doesn't like about Uphill Wharf Cafe:
Poor food. Filling a plate with chips is not a substitute for good food. Sausage overcooked. Eggs overcooked. Bacon nearly raw. Brown Sauce disgusting. Don’t bother eating here. Only saving grace coffee and ice cream pretty good!!!! View all feedback. What User likes about Uphill Wharf Cafe:
yesterday for tee and cake, my man must say is a zöliakie and the gluten-free courgette and avocado cake was up there with the best he ever tasted, would like to know who baked it, as I often baked a cake for his birthday. View all feedback.

read moreTucked away in a charming spot, this dog-friendly café offers a mix of experiences, especially for brunch and breakfast enthusiasts. Guests appreciate the lively atmosphere and well-presented dishes made from fresh ingredients, although some have noted inconsistencies in portion sizes and menu items—like bread instead of toast. While the service is generally friendly and efficient, a lack of control over noise levels from barking dogs can detract from the ambiance. Prices are considered high for the area, but the quality of food, especially with generous portions and delightful desserts, often makes up for it. Outdoor seating adds to its appeal, making it a great pitstop after a seaside stroll.
fab eating, fast service and amazing friendly staff. a really nice place to take some time!
What an awesome little place this is! Good service, great food and at a reasonable price too! Even my 5 3 year olds cleared their plates!!
