"Stopped by on our way to check out the Ferries to Newfoundland. Had the Lunch Trio which consists of the Soup of the Day, 1/2 sandwich of the day and a salad. I along with my fellow diners all had the trio. The soup was cauliflower, upgraded to a Caesar Salad plus the sandwich grill cheese and bacon. All of the food was fresh tasty with the soup especially having a homemade taste. The service was top notch. I want to sa that every server in the restaurant paid some level of attention to our table. Hope to be back soon. Still have to visit Isle Madame and the Black Spoon Bistro is along the way."

"Absolutely amazing experience again! We came here 6 years ago and finally had a chance to return with friends. The restaurant, service and food was beyond 5 stars. The staff are incredible and the chef creates such a unique experience while dining. The new location offers a great waterfront view. We will be back next summer!"

"This is a wonderful, relaxed hotel restaurant with outstanding seafood as well as meat dishes. Service was very fast and courteous and the fish I ordered here was very well prepared and plentiful. It is one of the best restaurants if not the best offered in Sydney, NS."
