This charming cafe has been my place of choice for breakfast these last couple of weeks while on a business trip and is heaven for a coeliac.Traveling as a coeliac has its perils and it is refreshing to meet people that genuinely care about the quality of the food and looking after you.Food is tasty service is outstanding. Whenever I am in Sydney I will make a beeline for this cafe. View all feedback.
What Laurianne Schmidt doesn't like about Garage:
This is a consistent conversation point between our office and friends. We all love a great coffee but where does time fit into this. Skip the queue are a testament of this but never really work as they let the coffee get cold or you end up waiting anyway. I think 5/6 minutes is about right. Here i waited over 10. A bit harsh yes but hey. View all feedback.
Coffee was slightly roasted, but full of taste and not sour. the breakfast also good only the manager or owner seemed happy with no one or anything
Had a coffee meeting here, a nice couch, but that's all positive I can come with. both the skim cap and the latte were bitter, especially for the latte, the color actually looked too dark to be a latte. the burial of my colleague had yogurt base a pronounced sourness and not much berries taste.
Not too sure. The coffee was very disappointing, and for that reason I won't be back. But the yogurt was good, nice and creamy and not too sweet
It's lunchtime, I'm busy, you're a cafe, I don't want to wait more than 15 minutes for my lunch .. unfortunately that's what happened. The chicken burrito isn't too bad, a little light on flavour, I'm glad I asked for sour cream with it - that made a massive difference. Unfortunately the lasting impression I have here is the poor service.
Love this place, I go to Sydney every month for work and will continue to go back here for breakfast, fast service, reasonable prices and great food and coffee
