I am a Swedish citizen who lived in Sydney for about one and a half years. Rengaya is hands down the best Japanese restaurant in town. Choose between Japanese BBQ or sashimi. I can recommend the Wagyu beef sashimi, the sashimi seafood platter and the Wagyu beef tartar. View all feedback.
What Bill Powlowski doesn't like about Rengaya:
I visited this establishment last night. Unfortunately the staff don't understand english that well and we had to point out each item on the menu for them to write it down. The salads were good as were the meat dishes. But our BBQ ran out of gas half way through cooking and then everything went cold while we waited for them to get a new can of gas.
