This place serves homemade quality Puerto Rican food. I can't recommend this place enough if you are ever in the East Chicago area do yourself a favor and stop by and get something to eat. Rude service and mi familia did not feel welcomed at all. All the signage and policies no special orders , no substitutions . No this, no that . Petty service fees for credit cards, and if you dare pay with plastic it 's like buying a car. Food took a long time. Food was ok but not good enough to make up for the poor service. Might try Tania 's as another poster suggested if I 'm out in East Chicago again. read more.
