I recently transitioned to a vegan diet when I discovered Sara’s Instagram, which truly inspired me. When I visited London, I knew I had to try a pomo burger. It definitely lived up to my expectations; you can really taste the love that goes into every component. I brought along a meat-eating friend, and she remarked that if she could eat like this all the time, she’d switch to veganism in an instant! I'm looking for... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pomodoro E Basilico:
Fast forward to many years later, and I visited the vegan-friendly market scene in 2022. I have to admit, I was a bit starstruck because these young vendors are truly pioneers of vegan cuisine. I enjoyed a blueberry poppy roll that was incredibly rich in blueberry flavor and sweet yam. They had expanded their menu since my last visit, now offering a variety of meat substitutes along with the jackfruit burger. I would... View all feedback.
There are so many vegan options in the boiler room, but the lady who works here is super lovely! I thought the food was nice not overwhelmingly great, but I admittedly did not try a burger. I would go back just for the service, but next time will try the burger. The jackfruit was nice too
I tried a Jackfruitburger at the Vegfest last year and it was really good. It had a sweet sauce that contrasted with the peculiar taste of Jackfruit. But it was on a gluten-free bungalow that, while good for those who are gluten-free, I would like to have the choice as I personally do not tend to like gluten-free food. update many years later on vegan friendly market seen in 2022, I honestly type of fangirled as these guys are such OG vegan food. I have a blueberry poppy role that was Super Blueberry and Yam. You only order now what they did not do if I had previously visited, and have updated a few since then fake meatburgers as well as the Jackfruit that I probably prefer from the previous review on 2022 05 01
Had their food at the London Brighton Vegfests. Tasty and filling options with unusual ingredients: jackfruit burgers and charcoal buns.
I had the jack burger here and I really really wanted to like it more as I've been waiting to come here for a while, but it just didn't have much taste; there are two other burgers I haven't tried so perhaps they're tastier. It's a small business so don't be put off coming here to try, I think I just expected more.
Sara makes the widest selection of vegan foods that I know of. Burgers, Cheeses, Sauerkraut, Sauces, Buns, Sweet treats...in fact, I challenge you to find something at her stall that isn't entirely made from scratch. This woman knows how to cook! And damn does she do it with such finesse! Her food is beyond delicious and if you want more, she even sells her sauces and cheese on Etsy nom nom nom...love this place. I've never been even slightly disappointed walking away with a meal from here. You gotta go.
