What G Bitter doesn't like about Homestead.:
The food at this restaurant was excellent, and I appreciate the owner's dedication to taking care of the kitchen staff by adding 5% to the bill. However, the timing of food delivery was a bit off. We ordered cocktails and our meals at the same time, expecting to have some time to enjoy our drinks before the food arrived. Homestead was a pleasant surprise, offering a fantastic dining experience. It is a paradise for food enthusiasts, yet remains cozy and unassuming. It was our first visit and our server, Emily, was outstanding - friendly, laid-back, informed, and attentive. She gave us excellent suggestions for our meal. We tried six different dishes, from salads to meatballs, fish, and pasta, and each one was incredibly tasty. The special pasta filled with parsnips was especially unique and absolutely delicious. The sauce was phenomenal and made me want to order more right away. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I recently dined at Homestead for the first time. The atmosphere was more casual than I anticipated, with a relaxed vibe that was slightly on the noisy side, resembling more of a bar than a restaurant. During our meal, we enjoyed dishes such as octopus, Caesar salad, fusilli, and fatto a mano. The Caesar salad was expertly prepared and delicious, boasting the perfect balance of flavors. The freshly made pastas were also outstanding and full of flavor.
