I convinced my son and his girlfriend to order from China House via the Just Eat app for a weekend meal, treating the four of us. I have been ordering from this takeaway for as long as I have lived in St. James. Despite many changes in ownership, I have never had a bad meal or received anything less than polite service. I believe that the negative reviews are outdated and do not reflect the current experience at this establishment.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff is friendly. As a very satisfied customer, I would definitely recommend it.
The new menu is out, and they are offering free chicken wings for orders over £12. The Satay sauce is delicious, and there is still a variety of large Chinese dishes available.

The delivery driver brought our food, coughed all over it, appeared sweaty, wiped his head with a tissue, and lingered outside our house for five minutes coughing. When we contacted the restaurant, they assured us that the driver was fine. We expressed our concern that if he showed symptoms of COVID-19, he should not be working. It was clear that the restaurant was not following the law or proper food and hygiene regulations.
