Yesterday, I was graduating at the Royal Derngate theatre and was struggling to make the day's arrangements work for my parents who are both in their 80s. The staff at John Franklin's went out of their way to help they effectively looked after Mum and Dad for me while I raced around getting gowns and photos done. Very laid back and friendly service. We had a pizza and the mixed plate of the day. The pizza was excellent. The mixed plate was different to the one advertised, but several cheeses, two cooked meats, chutney and bread and cheese biscuits made a plateful. Very busy and we went early as it was a pre-theatre trip for us, so we could just walk through to the theatre. View all feedback.
