This restaurant has been around since 1907 and is another piece of historic North brook IL. It is located on side streets but worth the walk for breakfast. It is similar to a diner so if you are looking for something more formal, I wouldn't recommend Clary's. The menu choices are endless; the staff is attentive; and the food is phenomenal. Like many, “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” brought me to Clary's. It was okay, but really nothing special. I had a turkey breast sandwich, largely because of them advertising fresh roasted turkey every day. Not great, not bad. We also had a Reuben, also okay but nothing I'd go out of my way to come back for. The highlight was definitely the vanilla coke, and if you stop in, I highly recommend one of their f...
