The Hatchet Inn is located Market Place in Newbury. I’ve had a beer in a couple pubs near to The Hatchet before but never been in. In Newbury today I thought hmm I fancy a pint I’ll give it a go. Dark. Very busy but like a tardis, huge. Plenty of nice staff but got one of our food orders wrong. Service was quick despite being very busy. But, children running around. Another family who couldn't control one small girl. Another family letting their child climb over the table and furniture. Older men leering at woman. Felt quite uncomfortable at times.
