"Whenever in Northumberland we always make a beeline to The Horseshoes Inn; their Sunday lunch is excellent. The roast beef was wonderful slices with roast potatoes, mash, carrots, broccoli, green beans and red cabbage and of course a yorkshire pudding. The owners and their staff were as friendly and helpful as ever and we can't wait to return again. Tables were cleaned and sanitized before we arrived and after people left."

"Three of us ate here yesterday evening and had an absolutely beautiful culinary experience. our appetizers and main courses were fresh, tasty and generous in size. the menu is simple and straightforward, which was great for us relatiw newcomer to Thai food. service was friendly and friendly. probably also the cleanest and smartest toilets in the city. always a good sign! I would not hesitate to recommend thai vibe and will be very soon."

"Fair but quantity rather than quality! I had crab salad, mostly brown meat, mayonnaise, a lot of spinach leaves with dressing, chips or new potatoes. I was rather put off by all this spinach salad! Dessert was a tarte Tatin served with ice cream and a lot of whipped cream. A bit heavy for me, especially the thick pastry."

"Wow. Spectacular 12oz steak. Large portion and the onion rings are the best I have ever had also the steakhouse sauce is very tasty. The place is lovely with friendly staff. Wonderful find whilst on holiday"

"Had a meal here whilst on holiday. Food was gorgeous, we really enjoyed it and it made my day that they served Heineken 0% no alcohol beer. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Lovely atmosphere, comfy seats, beautiful tables with crisp white linen and fresh flowers. The whole place spotless clean. We had a great night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"It is just off the main roads and you will pass it by unless you know it's there. A nice unspoiled pub with some great beers and food far cheaper than in Seahouses. Service was good. Food excellent and great beers. You will encounter locals with strange accents who seemed happy to chat. If you are in the area make the effort to find this one."
