A fantastic day out at this beautiful castle and grounds. The state rooms were amazing with stunning ornate ceilings and fireplaces. Loved the library/family sitting room. There was so much to do for adults and kids alike. For those used to the quality of National Trust Catering offerings this was the only disappointing aspect of an otherwise very enjoyable day.. The main cooked options appear to be fried food not I'm afraid to our taste. read more.
