"Cafe Man is a local café at the end of a number of terrace houses in a very industrial area. From outside, it is the last place you expect to find a number of vegan options. A good selection also see photo for menu Jan 2022. The staff really knew everything about the requirements even to the extent they told me that I could not have a role because they had milk, but the sliced bread was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made folding jacket, which was nice. The other half had a Linda Mc fishcake. They even had vegan Mayo and salad cream! There is a separate fryer for the vegan stuff and they take gluten free seriously, even they even have a separate toaster. Impressive effort and knowledge. Many larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff at Cafe One. So friendly. Parking is located on a residential street right in front of the house. "Never been dissapointed here where the food is truly flavour packed and prepared with extreme care by ex Masterchef finalist, Dave. Always looked after and used for special occasiuons where the wine float is a must for the larger menus. Expensive but worth it. Some month's do a special menu for lunch which is great value taster menu for the larger more expensive menu options. Quality on any menu is just outstanding. No other restuarant compares for quality of food, thus far! Cheese platter supplied by Grate in Jesmond is worthy of special mention as is the service. Oh, and the Kets! Can't go wrong just save up first and do it."

"I took my team here for a staff meal last night after seeing great posts on social media and we all absolutely loved it! Such a cool place with a laid back, good vibe. It was busy but nothing was compromised friendly service, lovely drinks and the food was beautiful. Still dreaming of the garlic bread!! We are all in hospitality too so it was lovely to be treated so good we will be back! X"

"Great eating was just stunning. had one of the best Sunday dinners I ever had. the swarm was slowly roasted to perfection, yorkshire puddings were light and huge, veg and trimming perfectly cooked and all for £10.00 I can't wait to come back and have it back. beautiful atmosphere, huge portions and nice staff."

"Visited here for dinner at the weekend during a trip here. the employees were all so friendly and although it was busy, eating was great and they can not complain for the prices. we had our dog with us and we were allowed to eat outside with him, which was great."
