Although we live in the south of England, this is our 'go to ' ice cream stop, and we have been going there for years. If you like 'proper ' ice cream, scraped up out of a churn then you will love this place. Don 't ask for 'vanilla ' though because their 's is 'original ' and the taste is sublime. Out for a bike ride noticed the cafe was open for take aways, looked like it was serving meals to locals but also had ice cream bagged up for people to collect too. As I approached the left door, there was a table in front where you placed your money the change was placed then I moved to the right door to collect the ice cream, pavement marked outside too, would definitely return when next in the area, felt very safe...
