"Beautiful tea cafe you can see heart and sole has been put into every detail. Staff are friendly and well versed in products. Food and drinks are very reasonably priced and delicious. Felt safe and Covid free in the environment. Will definately be visiting again."

"Went here on a whim as we were staying down the road. Not the easiest place to find in the dark but that's what sat-navs are for. Excellent food, staff were lovely and we enjoyed our dinner a lot. The staff were also nice enough to give us a free peacock pint glass as my daughter works at a peacock sanctuary. Will be back again when we're next in the area."

"Whenever in Northumberland we always make a beeline to The Horseshoes Inn; their Sunday lunch is excellent. The roast beef was wonderful slices with roast potatoes, mash, carrots, broccoli, green beans and red cabbage and of course a yorkshire pudding. The owners and their staff were as friendly and helpful as ever and we can't wait to return again. Tables were cleaned and sanitized before we arrived and after people left."

"We just finished a fabulous farewell. we are 4 friends who have removed a weekend and finished with a delicious curry. each dish was delicious and all pickel and popadoms were beautiful. thanks to the staff. we were very impressed."

"The Drift is a lovely cafe plenty of seating inside and out and dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and under the table both inside and out. My husband and I had hot drinks and a cake each I had a large slice of Victoria sponge and is was delicious and my husband had a Mars Bar rice crispie slice which he enjoyed very much! We will return!"

"Lovely accommodating staff, food and portion size was perfect. Back again, lovely as always. Had time for a pudding this time and the apple crumble and custard didn't disappoint. Back again 5/11 as good as ever."

"My daughters took me here for afternoon tea as a birthday treat. There were 3 adults and two children, as soon as the lady serving saw the kids she was off. She made it very difficult about where to place the high chair and made my daughter feel very awkward. All other customers were offered a top up of coffee and tea but we had to ask, after repeatedly being ‘overlooked’. The food was amazing but we did not feel welcome and the service, most definitely was not friendly. Dogs are welcome but not children apparently."
