Came here pre flights from Newcastle. Large restaurant with ample parking. Service was great and staff were attentive. We opted for the 2 course special. Starters were huge and tasty (all 3). My main was a little bland, so didn’t finish it (pasta with courgette in tomato type sauce). Even with copious amount of Parmesan didn’t really help. We really enjoyed the good service here but there’s always a but when we’ve eaten here… It’s not obvious that the steak dishes and meats in same section of the menu, don’t come with chips. We asked so it was fine but another table were angry when his steak order arrived chipless!
