Golden flower must of been taken over last 2 meals we ordered, meat was shocking chicken and beef. Been going for years, food always been top quality.

"Cafe Man is a local café at the end of a number of terrace houses in a very industrial area. From outside, it is the last place you expect to find a number of vegan options. A good selection also see photo for menu Jan 2022. The staff really knew everything about the requirements even to the extent they told me that I could not have a role because they had milk, but the sliced bread was milk free. I had a Vacon sandwich, with chips and a big house made folding jacket, which was nice. The other half had a Linda Mc fishcake. They even had vegan Mayo and salad cream! There is a separate fryer for the vegan stuff and they take gluten free seriously, even they even have a separate toaster. Impressive effort and knowledge. Many larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff at Cafe One. So friendly. Parking is located on a residential street right in front of the house. There are not many vegan options here, so this was a very welcome find. Updated by previous rating on 2022 01 28"

"Fantastic Thai Food. I ordered several dishes, my favourite being the Thai Chicken Salad Hot and the Thai King Prawn Green Curry. The food was delicious and excellent value for the fresh ingredients used. Best Thai takeaway that I have ever used."

"From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with smiles from the FoH and the Kitchen. The service is always on point and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is my third/fourth time (pre refurb visiting P&L. The mood and setting was perfect for the occasion and the food delivered on their Xmas festive menu and then some. Variety of dishes (12/13 was superb and the flavours and textures didn’t disappoint. I’ll be back again and won’t be leaving it so long next time :"

"Was in the area and this place was recommended to me, so after checking out the reviews went there for lunch. Got there early, soon after opening to make sure no problem getting a table, as it's popular and was a way for me to go to visit. Upon entering was greeted and taken to a table, very friendly staff. Nicely laid out location with tables not too close together, but close enough so it is quick and easy for them to be changed around for different size groups. I ordered the Colmans Feast (Prime cod, thick-cut chips, homemade mushy peas plus a pot of tea or a cup of filter coffee) with a side portion of curry sauce. Came very quickly and it was lovely and hot, all perfectly cooked. Ate every scrap and thoroughly enjoyed every bit! Cod was a good size and plenty of flesh, chips were a good size and nice and chunky, curry sauce was spicy and thick enough (not too much to kill the taste of the fish/chips) and mushy peas were very enjoyable (I'm not a massive lover of mushy peas). I had the coffee as my drink and it was a decent flavoured cup. Was so good that I went back 3-4 days later with a friend and had the same again apart from skipped on the mushy peas. Lovely atmosphere, lovely food, friendly staff Due to it's popularity can get very busy (as it was my second visit) and so may have to wait for a table it you time it for the busy period. 100% without hesitation recommended!"
