What User likes about Golden Flower Chinese:
Unfortunately I love the food but that's the problem it seems that so do alot of ashington residents of you ring to order its average time of 2hrs if you go directly to shop it's not much better ive often have to go elsewhere as unable to wait(busy) to my disappointment its worth waiting View all feedback. What Sharron S doesn't like about Golden Flower Chinese:
This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The house special chow mein was served in two separate containers, with plain noodles in one and a watery chow mein in the other. I have never had anything like it before. It was extremely salty and I couldn't even eat it. View all feedback.

read moreGolden Flower has once been a beloved staple in the Ashington dining scene, known for its remarkable Chinese takeaway. However, recent changes in management have led to mixed reviews. Loyal customers note a decline in food quality, with salty dishes and subpar meat upsetting the longstanding reputation for excellence. While some still praise the freshness and generous portions, the increased wait times and inconsistency have left many yearning for the restaurant’s former glory. Despite the challenges, the restaurant remains busy, attracting diners eager to enjoy its previously outstanding culinary offerings. Time will tell if it can reclaim its status.
