"Quite a quirky little cocktail bar. Visually, looked like something you might find in the 1980s American Mid-West. Lots of high stools around tables, a little leather sofa in the corner. Didn't try the cocktails but the menu was impressive! Staff were lovely and accommodating. Very relaxed atmosphere, and the Hexham local clientele were both harmless and self-contained. The smell of smoking from outside did creep in through the door, so sit at the back if this concerns you."

"What a lovely little find! We are a family of 4, who love to try new places to visit. Food was delicious, ice cream was amazing. Can’t beat jersey milk ice cream The staff were fabulous, they were friendly and approachable with a good sense of humour. Added bonus was seeing the jersey cows, my boys loved the donkeys. We managed to buy some fresh eggs also. Over all a fabulous visit. We will definitely be back."

"We’ve been coming here for many years as it’s a lovely spot, but today we were really made to feel so unwelcome by the man that was working there, I just had to leave a review (I never normally do this). We were a big party of 10, just coming for coffee and really felt like we were a nuisance, which is sad as I don’t think we were."

"Couldn’t find anywhere open for breakfast in Keilder area due to time of the year, Saturday morning. So on the advice of owner at Anglers Arms headed here. Fantastic full English, all cooked fresh. Cooked like you would for yourself. Kids had a small one each and loved it. Wife had eggs Benedict and gave it high praise. Lovely staff. Reasonably priced."
