We don’t visit this pub very often as it’s quite a distance from home, but never been disappointed here. It’s always a treat. The chef genuinely understands food and flavours, so this is a cut above standard pub grub and is sensibly priced too. Particularly recommend any of the seafood dishes as all very fresh and expertly cooked and seasoned. Can’t praise it highly enough! Well worth a visit. View all feedback.

Booked for Sunday lunch. The pub was cold, due to the heating not working (this was not communicated when the booking was made on the day).But when I asked to move tables from the cold dining room where guests had kept their coats on, the staff did accommodate and move me close to the fire.
