We had booked in advance as was advised by the owner of our guest house. We had the window seats with great views out to sea. I ordered a starter to eat as mains which was the steamed mussels with a sour dough wedge of bread at £12.95 which was good but the mussels seemed a little small. I only wanted to know what the soup of the day was…. When you ask the server what the soup of the day is, to which she replies ‘I have no idea, the chefs are just making it now’. Do your chefs not know what soup they are making? I then asked how long do you think it will be, to which she replied ‘I don’t know, how long is a piece of string, I have no idea’. This place advertises as serving gluten free food this is not suitable for coeliacs as they openly admit to using one fryer for all food.
