We have been going to the Rendezvous for 25 years and it is excellent every time there are not that many restaurants where you get a consistently excellent experience. The service is great, although you might have to wait a bit longer to get seated on a Saturday night, they always seem to find you a table and the food is delicious. Despite the food being absolutely fine...I HATE, HATE, HATE this restaurant!! The place is cosy, and is well presented. As was the Darras Hall New Rendezvous. But, I find the people pretentious, with a sycophantic approach towards their “celebrity” customers.
