"Lovely little remote venue we called ahead to check about vegan options for a Sunday roast, they made vegan cottage pie and served with potatoes, veg and gravy. They also offered a vegan curry. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegan fruit crumble on the menu and they also had vegan ice cream! In the field across the road from the pub there were cows, it was lovely to say hello to them and give them some grass (obviously I'd rather see cows free or at a rescue, but I like to talk to cows whenever I see them and apologize for what humans do to them)."
