I have a very good friend who lives in Stakeford and is her 60th birthday next week so wanted to get her something special. I left a message asking if they did vouchers for afternoon teas. the service is great and both Bev and Meriel are always helpful. The cakes and scones are lovely and so much choice, very reasonable for home made products

"In the vacation in this opposite my wife wanted to dinate somewhere nice, as it was my birthday, the cook barker picked up. it was a great choice. I couldn't believe how busy it was on a Tuesday night (mostly oldies, as we ourselves). the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful, eating was excellent and also very valuable. "Slightly late opening but well worth the few minutes wait. Colourful, casual style restaurant. Super attentive, friendly staff, great atmosphere, great music. 5 different meals, all thoroughly enjoyed even tried a Peruvian cocktail. "For my birthday this year my dad treated me to afternoon tea with my sister, 2 nephews and niece. It was lovely. After arriving at the White Swan centre it doesn't look like there is anywhere from the outside. But once you are in the room it is lovely. The afternoon tea was so lovely and the china cups added that little extra. I will be back. Thanx"
