"Visited this place a few times now when in the area but the last experience suggested it may be time to spread our wings and try elsewhere. Whilst prices are creeping up everywhere, they seem to have increased disproportionately at The White Swan. And sadly, the attention to detail and customer service has not improved to reflect. Ok, all staff have to learn, all places can get busy and sometimes mistakes can happen, but the moral of the story is when a pub restaurant is lead from the front and not just allowed to trundle along, new staff will perform and pick up the right behaviours quicker, customers will feel that the place is managed and under control and mistakes will be reduced or resolved in a more structured manner. Smiles cost nothing, and given what we paid, I think the staff should have been rolling around on the floor with laughter never mind smiling."
