Unfortuntly I and my husband did not have a great experience at Patisserie Valerie we stayed in London for a few days and as a treat I bought online a gift certificate for Patisserie Valerie for afternoon tea at Charing Cross Road when we got there it had been closed for a few weeks, very disappointing and quiet upsetting that we where not told that it was closed. I'm sure we like to remember patisserie valerie like many others. the cake and coffee in the offer, however, was not bad, but rather a fairly average affair with a premium price tag. the building was tired and passed on shabby (not even smells very welcoming). Chose afternoon tea, scones were stale, very poor choice. I should have known better as it was the only empty coffee shop, no wonder!
